AUTOMATED SPRING CONTACT MARKING SYSTEMS
Carco Automated Contact Marking Systems are designed to reliably put neat, clean ink marks on a surface upon demand. The systems have two basic components; the spring marker head, which puts the mark on the part, and the ink pump, which supplies marking fluid to the spring marker head. Typically, the ink pump will re-supply the marking head/nib assembly once every 10 to 20 marks - the result is the ability to mark 10,000 to 20,000 parts per every ounce of marking fluid.
ES-612A - Spring Marker
The ES-612A is Carco’s original contact marker. It uses the Carco ES-641 spring loaded marking head attached to a block mount non-rotating air cylinder with flow controls. The unit is extremely versatile and offers a wide variety of options:
- A large choice of standard round marking Head / Nib sizes 1/8”, 1/4”, 1/2”, 3/4”, 1.0”, & 1.5”
- Available in custom square, triangle, & rectangle marking heads
- Standard unit is mounted to a non-rotating block mount air cylinder available in various stroke lengths
- All ES-612 Systems allow for orientation in any direction required
- Available with optional magnetic reed cylinder and Hall Effect switches

ES-712-A Automated Cover Assembly Spring Marker
The Carco ES-712-A Automated Cover Assembly Spring Marker allows the use of FAST DRYING marking fluids. Unit incorporates the Carco ES-641 spring loaded marking head along with an automated cover assembly. The unit is extremely versatile and offers a wide variety of options:
- Automated cover assembly allows the use of Carco fast drying marking fluids
- Choice of standard round marking Head / Nib sizes 1/8", 1/4", and 1/2"
- All ES-712-A Spring Marking Systems allow for mounting in any orientation/direction required
- Unit is mounted to a block mount air cylinder with flow controls and available in various stroke lengths
- Available with optional magnetic reed cylinder and Hall Effect switches

ES-612-A W/ ES-1552 X-Y BRACKET ASSEMBLY SPRING MARKER
The ES-612A X-Y Bracket Assembly uses the Carco ES-641 spring loaded marking head attached to a double acting t non-rotating air cylinder. The unit is extremely versatile and offers a wide variety of options:
- A large choice of standard round marking Head / Nib sizes 1/8”, 1/4”, 1/2”, 3/4”, 1.0”, & 1.5”
- Available in custom square, triangle, & rectangle marking heads
- Standard unit is mounted to a non-rotating block mount air cylinder available in various stroke lengths
- The optional ES-1552 X-Y bracket assembly allows for easy adjustments once unit is mounted in vertical and horiztonal direction. Bracket Assesmbly available in various lengths
- All ES-612 Systems allow for orientation in any direction required
