Carco’s direct part marking systems are designed for many applications, including leak testing, inline process marking, and non-destructive (NDT) testing applications.
Immediately and accurately marking parts and integrated assemblies that have passed or failed inline leak testing/inspection is critical to removing defective parts for future corrective action. Our part marking solutions and systems apply a fast-drying, precise inkjet dot immediately after leak testing to improve part traceability.
Our inline process marking solutions are designed with efficiency, accuracy, and speed in mind. With cycle times often measured in half-seconds, our systems are capable of repeat, accurate performance for standalone, unattended, fully automated production lines.
Carco’s part markers are ideal for many NDT applications, including liquid penetrant, dye penetrant, magnetic particle, and eddy current testing. Our solutions instantly mark parts and assemblies with surface or subsurface defects, cracks, micro-fissures, voids, inclusions, porosity, and other anomalies.
Our contact marking solutions are cost-effective, accurate, and designed for repeatable identification. These systems can mark 10,000 to 20,000 parts with a non-atomized dot for every two ounces of marking ink/fluid.
Our recommended direct part marking solutions for machine integration and testing applications include the ES-612 Spring Marker, ES-712-A Automated Assembly Spring Marker, ES-1518 Mini-Contact, ES-2618 Mini-Contact Marker, ES-1752 Mini-Contact, and ES-2100 Rectangular Spring Marker.
Our direct automotive part marking solutions are designed for neat and repeatable identification. Our contact markers provide a non-atomized, repeatable dot that can adhere to the components’ surface and mark 10,000 to 20,000 parts for every two ounces of marking fluid.
Our direct part marking products include the ES-612 Spring Marker, ES-712-S Automated Assembly Spring Marker, ES-1518 Mini-Contact, ES-2618 Mini-Contact Marker, and ES-1752 Mini-Contact.
The ES-612 Spring Marker is a highly versatile part-marking solution that can be used in various machine integration and testing applications. It’s highly accurate and available in six round marking head/nib sizes (1/8”, 1/4”, 1/2”, 3/4”, 1.0”, and 1.5”).
The ES-712-A Automated Assembly Spring Marker is a quick-drying, pinpoint-accurate marker. It is mounted on a block mount cylinder, which allows the system to be mounted in any orientation or configuration. This part marking system has an optional magnetic reed cylinder and Hall Effect switches and is available in multiple stroke lengths: 1/8”, 1/4”, 1/2”, 3/4”, and 1.0”.
The ES-1518 Mini-Contact is a dual-action air cylinder marker ideal for snug, close-fitting applications requiring accurate, quick-drying ink marks. This system is available in multiple marking nibs (1/8”, 1/4”, and 1/2″) and multiple cylinder stroke lengths of 0.5” to 4”. This system also features marking head assemblies that can be mounted in any orientation.
The ES-2618 Mini-Contact Marker is an immediate-drying, highly accurate, dual-acting air cylinder marker designed for use in small spaces. It allows for three marking heads/nibs (1/8”, 1/4”, and 1/2”) and is available in two cylinder stroke lengths: 1.5” and 4”.
The ES-1752 Mini-Contact marker is ideally suited to applications where mounting constraints are limited. It features a spring marker head, ink pump, and a user-friendly single-action spring return with three optional marking heads (1/8”, 1/4″, and 1/2″) that can be mounted in multiple configurations.
The ES-2100 Rectangular Spring Marker provides fast-drying, rectangular-shaped ink marks on part surfaces. This versatile part marking system allows for both magnetic reed and Hall Effect switches, and its thick felt pad (1/4” x 7/8”) means it can accommodate multiple marking fluids and inks.
